Unmask U: What Season Are You In?
A women’s conversation on becoming, truth and what we carry—a gentle place to pause, check in and be without pressure or performance.

You do not have to arrive with the right words
Many women become skilled at looking capable while carrying exhaustion, pressure, grief or a quiet sense of disconnection underneath. Unmask U creates room for honest reflection in a way that is warm, culturally responsive and choice-based.
What to expect
- A welcoming, facilitated conversation
- Optional grounding and reflection
- Space to consider where a mask feels necessary
- The seasonal question: What season are you in?
- Permission to speak, share briefly or simply listen
Who this is for
Women who are holding professional responsibilities, caregiving demands, emotional labour or cultural expectations—and want a place where they do not have to perform being okay.
You do not need to be a therapy client, have a diagnosis or share personal details to participate.
How we hold the space
- Choice: share only what feels comfortable; listening is participation.
- Respect: no judgment, analysis or unsolicited advice.
- Privacy: participants are asked not to repeat identifying stories outside the gathering. Because this is a group space, confidentiality can be requested but cannot be guaranteed.
- Individuality: there is no correct season and no pressure to remove a mask that is helping you feel safe.
Hosted with warmth and intention
Unmask U is co-hosted by Natasha Hoyte, Registered Psychotherapist and founder of Beyond Seasons, and P. Afua Marcus. Together, they create space for the real conversations women do not always get to have.
This gathering is a community wellness conversation. It is not psychotherapy, group therapy, crisis support or a replacement for individualized medical or mental-health care.
A single conversation is enough to know whether this is the right fit.
No pressure, only possibility.
Beyond Seasons is not an emergency service. In Canada, call or text 9-8-8 for suicide crisis support. If safety is at immediate risk, call 9-1-1 or go to the nearest emergency department.
