The story behind Beyond Seasons
For more than twelve years, I have supported women, children and families navigating trauma, crisis, grief, gender based violence and life changing transitions.
Beyond Seasons is rooted in my desire to honour my mother’s life, the childhood grief that followed losing her two days before my first birthday, and the wisdom passed down by my grandmother. Years later, therapy gave me language for what I had carried for so long.
“There is always a reason, a cause, and a purpose.”
My grandmother
Her words taught me to look for meaning without minimizing pain or rushing healing. These experiences taught me that people can remain responsible, productive and highly capable while carrying pain that has never been fully processed and quietly becoming disconnected from themselves.
This is one reason I focus on burnout and capacity depletion. Many of the women I support are carrying professional responsibilities, caregiving demands, emotional labour and cultural expectations. They may still be meeting deadlines, supporting others and doing what needs to be done while feeling mentally overloaded, physically depleted or no longer like themselves.
I am registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist and verified by Psychology Today.
A seasonal way to understand capacity
The Beyond Seasons Signature System uses four seasons Deep Winter, Early Thaw, The Thaw and New Season to give us shared language for your current stability and capacity. The Seed keeps a foundation of safety and grounding available in every season.
The public framework is a guide for reflection and care planning, not a diagnosis or a fixed timeline. Detailed assessment, scoring and integration rules remain private.
Questions about working together
Who does Natasha work with?
I primarily support adults, especially professional and caregiving women navigating burnout, grief, trauma, identity changes and major transitions. Sessions are offered online to clients located in Ontario.
What does culturally responsive therapy mean?
It means therapy considers how culture, race, gender, family, community, faith, work and systems may shape your experience. You do not have to leave important parts of yourself outside the therapy room.
How do I know whether the fit is right?
A consultation gives you space to ask questions, share what you are looking for and decide whether the approach feels right. There is no pressure to continue if it is not the right match.
